After a very long lull in getting any I got 2 today my total is now £40. A bit slower than I thought but alas its better than a kick in the teeth!

I'm so glad to have found this thread! My dad started collecting £2 coins a while ago. I decided to follow suit this year, and I'm really enjoying it. I was doing it just to have some spare change, but you've inspired me to make it more worthwhile.

I've got £58 so far. I often find the big Tescos are a good place to 'get' them.

I started 2 weeks ago and still only have £4 in my jar - both of which I got in the first day!! I find myself praying for £2 coins when I'm getting change!!

Fingers crossed, maybe they'll be like the proverbial buses and all come along at once....

I always give out £2 coins at work in change.

I dont save them myself but I have read this thread so always think to myself that it could be somebody who is posting here and they'd be really pleased with that £2 coin!

I would like to join this please, I will collect mine together and then on a monthly basis pay them off my credit card. I want this credit card cleard by March next year and then I am going to try and talk them into a 0% balance transfer.

Just remember 3 of them in my draw for credit card, so going to put them in my money bag.
