Hi all
Can anyone join in? Are you saving £2 pound coins that you get in change? How long for and do I have to make a target?

Hi,
Anyone can join, just let us know when you get some little 'preciouses' as they like to hide.
I think most people just save the £2 coins that they get in change - you have to be strong not to spend them again...:D
You don't have to set yourself a target - people do all different things - I am aiming to replace my hall, stairs & landing carpet so am saving for that, but some people put it into a savings account when it reaches a certain amount - £50, £100, etc so they're not tempted to spend it again.
I have to keep my pot hidden from little fingers that like to wander for loose change (not that they ever admit it!) so I hide mine in a vase in the cupboard that no-one knows about (I never get flowers, boo hoo
)
Hope that helps, and good luck with your collection...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Just hit the £40 mark after we found a £2 coin in Morrison's car park yesterday.
Besides that I am in shock and disbelief at winning £1,000 at Mecca Bingo on Sunday!!!!!!
I only went for a laugh.

Good on you! I find it's good to have a goal, then I'm not tempted - My OH & DS know I'm saving and because we are quite skint at the moment keep tempting me to use it, but I am determined to get my carpet so keep squirreling them away - Just got £2 in change from terrapin food that they wanted to spend, but hid it away quickly.... they can't have my preciouses....:rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
I think those Terramundi things are good, you can't get at the money unless you smash the pot!
