Is it OK to join in please? I registered today but have been lurking for a few days (hope I'm doing this right).

I've been collecting £2 coins since my birthday in February and have £76 so far, have a lot of debts to shift ASAP and am looking forward to the challenge of paying them off.

I got another 6 today. That's me up to an amazing £142. It is easy for me to get them though. My target is £250 for the end of April that will pay for a quarter of the fancy hut, sorry Summer House that we are getting.

ok where did all the 2 pound coins go that i put back into circulation last month?!! they're just not coming back around.

After a very slow start a few weeks ago the £2 coins are now coming in thick and fast and we are up to £44 already. :j I got 3 today at a jumble sale!! Only need 3 more then we will bank another £50 into the holiday account.:D

Too-Much-Debt and any other newbies - you are welcome to join us collecting our beloved £2 coins! Let us know how you get on. Some people ask for them in their change but we prefer to have a surprise and see if we get one by luck!!!

Hi everyone, I'm stuck on the £50 mark but now have a nice, shiney new account for paying them into so that there's no way I can spend them.
Mind you, the only place I ever get change is when paying cash at the post office, as almost everything else is on cards, but I've told everyone else to watch out for them and, if paying me cash, to try and include a £2 coin.

Up to today I have £100 of two pound coins in my bank so I am going to free them and use them for housekeeping for the next 2 weeks and maybe a treat or 6 :j Then I will start collecting them again.
