I am jumping on this wagon folks - just started dealing with my debts - and have a collection of two 2-pound coins (can't get my keyboard to find a pound sterling sign).:j

I'd like to join in to - I've been collecting £2 coins for the past year but in the past I have blown them on a day out with DH when I reach £100. This doesn't have much affect on the mounting debts but just gives a short term boost.

So I am going to bank the money in the credit union.:j

I'd like to join as well please ! Ive been saving £ 2 coins for a while now, have just used my £50 pounds worth to pay for my MOT and am now back up to £8 . The idea when I started saving was to treat myself with them to stop me spending other money, but when I disgraced myself by buying an iPhone I decided that they would now go on bills /debts as punishment! That was my little ( well quite big) blip but now I am focused on my debt- I will b debt free by next year.:A

hi bountiful before you pay that credit card off transfere it to a 0% interest one first so that your just paying the money that you actually owe and not what the post office wants to charge you extra cos card companies are rude that way

Thanks Kezza - I'm just sorting a new current account with a 0% overdraft - with Alliance & Leicester. Next step, yes, is to get 0% balance transfer for the credit card. Thanks for reminding me!
