hi everyone - just wondered if I can join in - I have a terramundi pot in which I have been collecting £2 coins since about Nov last year -
dont know how many are in there and dont want to smash my pot till its full - seem to have got quite a lot in the last few weeks and thought it would be good to join in:D

:j After a couple weeks without any, I managed to get 4 today and my OH came home excited as he had one too!

Do you all ask for £2 coins in your change or, like us, hope for the best and get all excited when you unexpectedly get handed one?!

We have £16 altogether this year and will bank when we get to £50 again. OH jokingly suggested that when we bank the next lot we should put a black mark on each one with a permanent pen and see if we get any of ours back again! How sad is that!?:rolleyes:

No i do the same as you (especially the excited bit ) I got another one last night which puts me upto £10 so far!

Would be more fun if all the DFWs did this, then you would be more likely to get one back with it on

Good Morning

I think I join in if no-one minds. I was collecting £2 coins last year and managed to put a fair bit into my savings account which is now sadly depleted following Christmas and going on holiday _pale_. It'll be nice to have people understand the excitement of getting a £2 coin in your change, my family just roll their eyes! I've got £6 already. Off to work out how to put in a signature.

Sorry about late posting- but have started saving £2 coins again as this paid for a camping holiday last year. checked my piggy today and was suprised to find £12 already saved.
Can't wait till i get my next one in any change.
