Evening Drinks!

I am trying to cut down (or cut out) my evening wine drinking - partly to save money but also to lose weight.
I was wondering what other people drink of an evening when they are at home relaxing. Do you drink tea/coffee, squash, pop - or all of these things? I would probably want to avoid coffee just from a sleep point of view.
Just being nosey really!
Thanks in advance.

I drink water mainly. Though occassionally will have a glass of wine.
Recently I made some lemon cordial so I am having that until it is finished and I can find some more lemons RTC.Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. water but also hot drinks....I drink a fair bit of mint tea, and have started having ''go to bed''type herbal blends in the evening to help me toddle off to bed ready to sleep well.0

Hi,
I am trying to do the same. At first I was trying to get myself off coke and just started drinking more wine. Then moved onto Vimto trying to cut down alcohol and then discovered SodaStream, so now I drink either fizzy Vimto or SodaStream Coke zero, which then comes very cheap and is very nice, feels like proper chillax. Don't ask me why, but to me that just feels like "naughty" drink after having a hard day, rather then just to drink water which I drink all day at work.
But then I love fizzy.0 -
I get through gallons of squash in the evening. At work I just drink water (have a litre bottle on my desk and drink 1ltr in the morning and one in the afternoon) but at home it's got to be squash. We usually get the double strength orange one from aldi so it's not too expensive - wich is handy, the amount I get through.
I used to drink quite a lot of tea, maybe 4 or 5 cups a day (ok, not that much then really) but I've totally gone off it now. I had a sickness bug a couple of months ago and haven't been able to face it since. The only downside of that is, people keep asking if I'm pregnant! (I'm not, we've been trying for ages).
I don't know if it's related or not but since I stopped drinking tea my skin has got loads better. I've always suffered with adult acne (I have to take hormones to treat endo and they affect my skin) but it's really not bad at all at the moment. Probably nothing to do with the tea though!0 -
I always have a large glass of water beside me wherever I am in the house and a cup of tea around 9pm#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I had a selection of herbal teas (though I have friends with whole cupboards full of them!). Currently my evening favourite is cherry & cinnamon. I'd try to get a selection pack & find out what ones you like?0

Normally a tea drinker, although that can be green or herbal/fruity. When it's particularly cold or I feel I needa bit of a treat i'll have a milky Horlicks or hot choclate.
In the summer I mainly drink water or squash if we have it in. I don't tend to buy it but do when it's hot to make ice lollies for the children.
I/we never drink in the house. It doesn't bother us, infact I'm seriously thinking about quitting alcohol altogether.0 -
Generally I drink tea, lots and lots of tea!
It doesn't seem to interfere with my sleeping and it is only very rarely I have to get up in the night to go to the loo!0 -
Yeah, I am pretty much another water drinker. Add a couple of ice cubes/ a frozen slice of lemon to spice it up! ;o) Once in a while a low fat hot choc mix but generally when cold/ sick."Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without!!"Nov NSD: ?/30 Nov Make 10 Day ?/300Get Rid Of Debt: ?/2000 !! :mad:0
