Failed e2save cashback, but why?

Just failed a credit check on e2save. First credit check I have failed :(

Can't really work out why. The credit check on e2save never asked how much I was earning or anything, so how do they score it? I have 2 credit cards (HSBC, and Morgan Stanley Platinum) - both paid by direct debit and looking at experian got the 0000000 meaning all payments received on time.

My total borrowing limit is £2000. Which is not a huge limit really, and not something I wouldn't be able to support.

I have been in job for a year now (am 21) as an "MPLS data network designer" - what gives?

Oh, also - I tried signing up on Equifax to view credit report on there, but it said they are experiencing problems right at the end when they tried to take my credit card details. Should the experian credit report that I have access to (30 day trial) show the e2save/three search? I can see my previous credit searches (ones I expected to see - but then I was accepted)

Many thanks
