    You haven't lived!!! ;)

Naturally I meant beer/lager, but as I was in full on "sampling mode", I'm actually quite impressed my post turned out as lucid as it did.

As for recommendations NJO, I know nothing about wines, just that I like what I like, namely full on heavy reds with no ughy Tannin aftertaste.... A combo I am told is hard to find, as with full bodied come Tannins. (so I am told) So for me it's the Wolf Blass Yellow Label South Australian Shiraz 2002 all the way, and on the "dimple in the bottom" test, we are talking a big, Dixon of Dock Green policemans helmet dimple, so it passes with flying colours. ;)

As for the hangover, even that comes way up in the..... "If I gotta get a hangover, I'll take this one" ratings. :D

  • i could't imagine having to pay £3 a pint, it would kill my tight yorkshire self! :D

i feel ripped off paying more than 20p for a game of pool.

I'd check out the Hundred of Barossa Shiraz at £4.47
    Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz £7.48
    Wolf Balss Shiraz £5.98
Andrew Peace Reserve shiraz at £4.48 is worth a pop too
    Hmmmmmmm
  • Job done, just bought 6 bottles of WOLFBLASS yellow label shiraz from Asda, normal price £7.98 a bottle, 25%off and a further 10% because it's Aussie, then at the till, I chucked the cashier 4x(£1 off wine Tesco coupons) which duly came off the bill. Therefore each £8 bottle cost only £4.72!!!!

Tesco vouchers in the free catalogue in Tesco stores, (of which I grabbed about 10!!!).

Remember drink in moderation! My purchases are purely for health reasons ;)
    Make me RICH!!!!!!

The way i read it was that the promotion ends on 'APRIL' 24th. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong ?

Tojo, If you live near a big Asda Wall Mart, can i suggest you try the Grant Burge Miamba Shiraz ? Abit pricier the the Wolf Blass but worth it

Well I took your advise.... And the jury has returned to deliver their verdict. ;)

My unrefined palate gives the edge to the Wolf Blass ;)

I thought it was 5% off for buying 6 bottles not 10% - it is in our Asda anyway plus of course the promotional discount!
