In one of my local stores yesterday they had Primo-V on display at £8.99 with a yellow 3 for 2 with the SEL expiry stated as 24/10. That being the case I didn't buy it - have I messed up? Would they have paid DTD (assuming 3 for 2 didn't kick in) as the date showed the offer had expired (though still on the shelf edge)?
Offer should be (if 3 for 2 worked on the tills) = £8.99 * 4 = £35.96 - £8.99 (25%) = £26.97
If DTD payable it would have been £8.99 x 6 = £53.94 - £13.48 = £40.45
Overcharge = £13.49 DTD = £26.97
Is that correct - therefore would have been free?
Many thanks

Your calculations look to be correctI have had no luck with any sel finds, they seem to be getting better.

Is the Gallo Merlot with the other rose Gallo ie. Zinfandel etc. I can't find it in any of my stores?
Its usually close by but so many stores lay out their wine differently because of store size, most seem to group the Rose wines together, or the USA wines together.
This is a newish wine to the UK (and even to Te$co) and from what I have seen the last few days iys only the bigger stores that are carrying it but it is worth seeking out. :beer:I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

Anyone try Martini Prosecco? It's 11.99 in Mr T and 5.00 in Mr A- difference of 6.99!0

can anyone point me in the right direction for 6 bottles of a nice sparkling wine or cava ( preferably Rose but white is fine if the deal is good )
TIA x
As Caz says the Mateus is a very good deal if you get JtD on it plus some of the stores (not all) have the Tesco Rose Brut Cava on offer at £4 which mean £3 per bottle after the 25% disc and some of the smaller stores (cant figure why) have the regular Brut Cava down to £3 which is £2.25 after disc (thats a great price)
I'm finding way to many price variations as I go from one store to the next. :mad:I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

Wow - thats some price difference
Would be best to mix 3 of it with say 3 of the Gallo to max the bonus.

Got my supply of pink bubbles up now for Christmas and on the look out for some white today. Noticed that the Wolf Blass is £9.99 in T and £6.98 in A. Not a huge JTD but still £3 a bottle back. Got the taste for this one during DTD days when we were getting it for free........0

We are completly out of white now  Whenever there is a 25% wine sale/3 for £10/glitch etc it always seems to be reds.
We got some Rose during the last sale and have got used to this but some white for a change would be good.
Wolf Blass is good but I think its still overpriced“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
