Facebook wins & your inbox

Had my facebook account disabled earlier this month and appealed - turns out it was done in error but since then everytime I go into messages I get:
We are currently upgrading your messages. Your messages will be back shortly.

Emailed them and 4 days ago this was the reply:

We are aware of the problem that you described and apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we do not have a specific date for when this issue will be resolved but hope to fix it as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.

So can't message any friends or see any wins - have had enough of facebook and think
I'll give the comps a miss for a bit as I won't know if I've won and can't message anyone even if I did know of a win!

57 messages - thanks won a carbon monoxide detector which I really hope I get but it was over a month ago so not holding out much hope. Thanks anyway and I will be keeping an eye out, I like to learn something new everyday.

Myself and others i know stopped receiving messages in the other at the beginning of Sept, would be interesting to know if anyone has received any messages in the other since Mid Sept, thanks

Have just deleted a load but I know that one was only from last week - Some sleazeball liking my profile photo and wanting to get to know me better!! No wins there but will keep an eye on it though and have also joined the Winners Circle. Searched there and brought up two wins which I did already know about. Thanks for the useful info though!

Thanks for posting this, never knew about it as well...

Just found 1 prize from summer, sent an email will see if i still get it... hopefully it was a small one, could be really disappointed if i would loose on something big...

This has been posted again and again on here. And as others have said before, the changes on facebook will now make it even harder to be informed of wins as companies are not allowed to message you.

So you have to keep your fingers crossed you either spot it, or a friend does & tags you
