Looking for cheap flooring from Homebase?

Hi,
A few days ago our TV was flooded with adverts for cheap wooden flooring from Homebase. Unfortunately, we're too far away to pop into a Homebase at the minute and our car is being fixed so we can't drive out. Has anyone seen what sort of prices they were looking for? They had hardwood flooring and laminate in the same ad. There's nothing on their rather poor website about it.
Thanks! BatCat

The cheapest hardwood flooring from Homebase I know is parawood (=rubberwood=hevea) one. It is about £15 sq.m. Very light natural colour hardwood. Decent quality. Not glueless.0

Hi
Have just been to Homebase today for the exact same thing!
Looking at laminate flooring only -
"2 strip oak" darkish wood laminate - £7.99 sq metre - that's £17.02 a pack of 8 panels (covering 2.13 sq metres)
or have cheaper ones at £5.99 sq metre at £12.76 a pack
Have a handy guide for a room on how many packs you'll need
5m2 = 3 pks
10 = 6
15 = 8
20 = 11
25 = 13
30 = 16
underlay can be cheap at 14.99 for 15m2
Hope this helps but you really need to go as some are really cheap nasty looking things!!0 -
oh yeah sorry - -that's glueless where you click it together - easy!!0

Do you have a floors-to-go anywhere near you? Their prices are always cheaper than anything on offer at a DIY store and they have a much wider range.
The advice their sales guys give is top notch too
Just discovered they sell it online now too

I know it's a bit delayed, but https://www.Floorstogo.co.uk have the Quickstep 700 laminate for £12.99 per square metre which seems a good price....
But https://www.completelyflooring.co.uk have the same product for £9.27 per square metre, so even better deals here!
https://www.ifloor.co.uk have it for £9.31 per square metre.
I know this is only one product but just thought I'd suggest these two websites as alternative suppliers.
Now if anyone knows of anywhere that does it cheaper than that - I would be VERY interested. Seems like a quality product??
Any good supplier recommendations for laminate flooring greatly received - thanks...

As a fitter, always, in my opinion opt for Quickstep flooring.
This is available online from companies such as ifloor and of course Floors2go.
I dont know if this applies to general public, but floors2go have always matched prices for me that I have seen online, so its worth asking.
Also, be aware that ifloor prices exclude VAT and that along with delivery if applicable will be added at checkout. Also when I have purchased from ifloor, packs are delivered by a haulier, inconveniently sometimes and be careful to check for damage. Although ifloor will credit, it can be longwinded and from my experience I wished I had just gone along to my local supplier and got a price match!0 -
another thing.....
If you can get fitters contact details (if paying to have it fitted) before purchasing, they too can often get flooring cheaper and pass some of the discount on. I tend to do this as it often helps secure the work!0 -
gardnt any idea which version type of Quickstep laminate flooring is best for a kitchen ?0
