Sainsbury or Lidl cheapie ones. They're about 28p for 80 bags. To me they taste exactly the same as Tetley or PG Tips. The bags are square but I can't believe the shape is going to make any difference to the flavour.0

Not very MSE but I like Sainsbury's TTD Kenyan tea, very crisp and clear flavour which isn't floral like some teas. £2.50 for 80 bags I think...0

I use Tesco Value tea bags as they are only 27p for 80. I find I have to leave the tea bag in longer but at that price I can't moan.

Another vote here for Sainsbury's Basics (29p for 80). They taste great (nice and strong) and are a good colour - also tried because I read about them on here - at that price it doesn't hurt to try them and if you don't like them you haven't lost much.
I have also tried Morrison's cheapy teabags in the yellow packaging. They tasted OK but I thought the colour was a bit strange and I felt embarrassed giving it to guestsIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -

I endorse what the majority have said about the Sainsburys Basic tea bags - I gave them a try after reading about them on here and they are great and sooooh cheap.Hope is not a strategy.0

Personal favourites are coop99 or sainsburys red label. Nice and strong!
Marks and spencer extra strong are also favourites but they are generally a bit more expensive.
Thanks Guys for your answers. keep them coming, if possible.
Out of the ones I've so far tried, I concur with lynzpower. My faves so far I think are M&S Blue extra strong One cup, Sainsburys Red label, and co-op 99, in that order I think. X0 -
Another hands up for Sainsburys basics here! Ive never been that fussed about tea but the OH couldnt live without it and he's been getting this for years. one of the biggest scandals was when it went up in our store from 28p to 38p! As a back up also gets Packers Best (I think?!) from Tesco which are also pretty cheap0
