I like Asda's own tea bags. You can get a massive box of them for £3.
Used to have PG tips, but they were getting really expensive.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £29,419.760 -
er - difficult this as everyone has their own preference as to tea! My OH likes Tetley tea bags - I prefer Earl Gray. I love Aldis ground coffee and make it in my cafetiere. OH prefers Aldis rich roast Instant - says its better than Nescafe! personal choice I think - just try a few different ones and see what you prefer.0

Sainsbury's basic teabags are 29p for 80 & are also fairtrade, taste ok but a bit weak0

Personal favourites are coop99 or sainsburys red label. Nice and strong!
Marks and spencer extra strong are also favourites but they are generally a bit more expensive. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks for starting this thread wekslap. We like Yorkshire Tea but it's getting really expensive even when on offer so I'll give some of the 'own brands' a try. We used to drink Co-op 99 years ago, so that'll be one of my first experiments.0

I like my tea strong, orange and stewed - real Belfast Tea and am very happy with the Sainbury own brand Basics teabags.
For 3 cups I use 6 teabags and ensure its on the heat for a min or so and cant fault its flavour and at 29p - its a steal.
That said, everyone is very fussy about their cuppa so you will need to try a few and decide what suits you.I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

Sainsbury's Red Label. Everytime.
If you like Twining's yellow box tea or English Breakfast tea, it's the nearest you can get for such a low price.
I'm one of those who doesn't leave the teabag in for long, but just shows the milk carton to the mug.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Whatever you do, don't buy Smart Price tea bags. I thought I'd try them as a backup / to save money; they taste like they used the branches instead of the leaves.0

I love Asda tea bags (not smartprice ones, they're gross!), i can just about stick sainsburys ones but that is all! If i start to run out of my asda ones i panic lol (i drink alot of it!)grocery challenge jan 17 £ / 350.000
