Hi Anyone heard or or installed a Dunsley type Neutralizer if so any advice well received???
Real world experience - Dunsley type Neutralizer on paper looks great but unfortunately after months and months of contacting companies we couldn't find anybody prepared to install these devices. We were interested in hooking up a boiler stove and LPG CH.
Perhaps if this product is being installed along with two brand new systems by the same plumber you may have more joy... There is just so many variables when connecting two systems that it is not cost effective for your local plumber to risk taking on this work on. Larger firms are not interested as it is not their bread and butter. Of course you will get plumbers coming round making the right noises but you never hear from them ever again...
Stories on the web tend to be DIY installs and users are familiar with poking these systems with a stick now and again...
Having looked into this it's probably best to have two systems on a large thermal store with a heat dump instead. As long as you calculate the correct size of store and coils you can hook up what ever you like pretty much.
All the best0 -
I have an open fire with a baxi back boiler connected into a gas fired CH system and I wish I hadn't bothered - I am getting it uninstalled soon.
I investigated the Dunsley Neutralizer but got much the response as the post above - certainly my regular plumber wouldn't touch one. Remember there are safety issues in connecting two systems.0 -

It' very important to have enough sensor pockets to control all the pumps and valves.

We have a similar but better system intalled.
We have a gravity fed multifuel stove which does our central heating and we have a pressurised hot water system, we wanted to keep the phw so our installer went down the way of fiting a H3 panel, similar to a Dunsley but in his opinion better.
They are more expensive to buy that I am aware of but thats as far as my tech knowledge goes with them im afraid.
If you want more info on them google H3 panelYou may click thanks if you found my advice useful0
