Stag Ideas Required!

Hi All,

Has anyone been on a decent stag do recently? If so where did you go and what did you get up to?

Also even better would be someone who's had to organise one recently. Do you know of any good deals or websites that I can use? There seems to be a bundle of companys that will organise everything but I'd be interested in anyone elses experiences, good or bad.

Thanks

Rob

My brother went to prague with easyjet, has been to Almeria with last minute .com my nephew went to Ireland and a work colleague went to Benidorm take your pick!!
They set a limit of £100 each to go away for a long weekend and the flights and accomodation came in at £84.50 each to Almeria, it is a case of looking on google or easyjet and last minute and search for the best deals xxxx

    Hey FatB,
A couple of years ago I went to Madrid to see a Real Madrid match for my mates stag. That was fantastic. I think we got flights for something daft like £5 (plus taxes of course) and stayed in a funky little hostel/hotel type thing in the middle of Madrid. The only downer was the stag ended up in hospital but thats another story... ;)
Last year I had my stag in Krakow, Poland. One of the most beautiful Euro cities I have been to. Again, got cheap flights and cheap digs. The food was fab and the beer lovely.
Obviously Different people want different things from their stags, I didn't want to just get wasted down my local and most of my friends feel like that. I wanted something I would remember.
I wouldn't bother with these companies that can arrange everything for you. If you know what you like doing and have a bit of imagination you'll be fine.
Looking forward to another one this year.

    Hiya

I've organised quite a few hen nights and tend to steer clear of the companies who will book it for you as it tends to work out more expensive. Saying that, booking it all separately for 30 girls to Barcelona last year was hard work! We had a brilliant time though and would definitely recommend barca for a stag do.
  • Thanks for all the info guys.. I think I'm going to ignore the stag companys as they seem to charge a hefty fee per person just for booking a hotel.

Dublin is the new favourite, anyone got any tips? stag friendly hotels etc...

Best not share mine, as the Groom ended up on a supply plane to Belize, and only just made it back for the wedding. Wifey still doesnt speak to the main culprits.
