I feel like I am going to snap at them.!!!

Cool down! Buying property is always stressfull. Just take it easy.
1st - you cannot tell the agent what to do about advertising the property - You don't pay him, the seller does. So the seller decides and tells the agent what to do
2nd - what's the problem? STC means Sold Subject to Contract. Well. The property is being sold to you, provided you and the seller Exchange Contracts. So that's what the ad now says!
3rd - the agent is running a business to make money. One way to make money is by 'selling' on legal services. If you don't want to buy their legal services, just politely and firmly say so.0 -

The properties stay listed with STC on them until you complete. If you uncheck the box to display sold properties then it wont appear. If you havent appointed a solicitor yet they will want to know why.
If you're this stressed out at this point lord help you in a few weeks.0 -

1, I can tell them to take it off as I have told you I have done this and they did take if off, now its back on saing STC.
2, The problem is people can still put bids in and view the house.
3, How many time do you have to say "no " for them to understand, lol.0 -

I am more concerned about somone else coming in and putting a higher bid in.
I have appointed a solicitor I to need to tell them tomorrow.0 -
1, I can tell them to take it off as I have told youcourse you can - you can tell them to close the office for a week too. Doesn't mean they'll do it! I have done this and they did take if off, now its back on saing STC. As explained a) thta's normal and b) only the seller can instruct them to do anything different
2, The problem is people can still put bids in Yes - until contracts are exchanged. So get your finger out! and view the house.only if the seller agrees to continue showing it.
3, How many time do you have to say "no " for them to understand, lol.let me guess? 5?
a) confirming your offer and b) telling them who your solicitor is?
If not, as suggested above, get your finger out!0 -

As GM said, the quicker you get moving on the sale the less likely this will be.
The only way you can secure your interest in the property is to exchange contracts with the vendor.
It would be extremely unusual for the agent to remove the property from rightmove completely until you have ponied up the cash. They should, however, refuse all further viewings on any STC property, as should the vendor. If you think this isnt the case you have cause to give them grief.
I really wouldnt go using up goodwill at this point over this however.
You seem to be fairly uninformed about what actually happens during the buying process and the various milestones you have to pass. You will make the whole process much easier on yourself if you invest some time into researching this now. Rather than when each step happens to you.0 -

Do you work for MSE?
And as I have said before the EA does not work for you so you cannot instruct them what to do - only the seller can.
No.0 -
they dont take it off on your say so...! Only the seller can agree to how the house is marketed. If I was the seller it would stay on until I saw the colour of your money.0
