So I came to the end of my 3G contact and took out a new one for the Iphone 4 I go 300 mins 5000 texts amd 500mb of data for 31/pm with the up front cost of 59 pounds.

Well shame on me for not doing my research as I realised this wasn't such a great deal I just found out on dial-a-phone they do the same offer but without the 59 handset charge.

So my question is how can they offer it cheaper then the actual provider? My phone comes on tuesday so I reakon I will be sending it straight back to them in the cooling off period unless they can drop the 59 pound charge.

I've got my PAC code aswell, what do you think of the deal I got? Any advice on getting a better one? I have looked on the main networks websites and around the 36 for a free handset and 31 with a small charge seems pretty standard but im not sure how lenient they are with them?

They are getting generous commission from the network and share it with you.

This depends on the returns policy of the network. DSR don't apply to upgrades.

And 31 days from when you got your PAC it becomes worthless so the clock is ticking.

The loss of £59 is annoying but not the end of the world.

Presumably it's a 24 month contract? That works out at <£0.50 month. Not worth losing sleep over.

I think you mean per week.

For the money you are spending, a lot of people are getting new iPhone 4s on a retention deal.

    Indeed I did - schoolboy error :o.

Still less than a 1/2 lager though.

On what networks, I'm yet to come accross anyone that has got an iPhone 4S for £31, £59 for handset. I'm out of contract with T-Mobile £20 a month. Looking for a good iPhone 4S deal.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

You're stil IN contract and will remain so until you terminate. You;ve only met your minimum term commitment (which isn't the same thing). As the 4S is flying off the shelves, 'good deals' are remarkably similar with only a pound or two of bundle variuants to make a slight difference. Until they become plentiful, this isn't going to change.
