I hate hoovering! Especially as something seems to have crawled into my hoover and died, I'm getting a really bad smell whenever I turn it on. Therefore for safety purposes I'm aiming to not hoover anything, not worth the risk I say.
Well done on smashing your Surveys + goal! I don't think I've earned that much from them in 5 years. Its definitely given me a push.

Are you registered with shop n scan?? If not, then you should because it is the easiest one to do out of the lot. You just scan your shopping - dead easy. They ask you to complete a food diary several times a year (I hate doing them) but you get extra points and we all know what points make

Jeez, is it me or is it starting to get icy cold? The yukky Autumnal weather is definately on its way
Mind you cosy nights in are quite nice.
Anyway, goals for September:
1. 15/30 NSDs. I have let this area slip and, when in the right frame of mind, am very good at them.
2. List and sell a minimum of 30 things on ebay (one for each day)
3. Complete all surveys that land in my inbox
4. Lose and keep off 5lb. I have never been on a diet in my life! Oh the perils of getting old(er)!0 -
This time last year, I was poorer than a church mouse. I needed new work pants but could only afford cheap and nasty ones that, not only looked it, but fell apart after two washes. I needed new work shoes but had to manage with what I had.
Fast forward a year and I am still poorer than a church mouse but I was able to buy better work gear (thanks to my vouchers) and have a better sense of money and budgetting.
I hope, hope, hope to be in an even better position this time next year.

Just done the internet banking. I have a tenner in my purse to last 23 days but I do have a tank of petrol and grocery shopping put to one side so, in theory, I should be ok. I will also be able to claim £40 of vouchers in the next few days.0 -
I'm in the same position as you. Last year couldn't afford anything and was actually walking around with holes in my shoes. This year there is still 2 weeks until payday and I still have money spare (and holeless shoes lol!)DEBT TOTAL: £7609.440

you know, I have spent a fortune this week. My lap top died and I had an eye wateringly high renewal quote for my car insurance. I have to have access to a computer at home so that I can work but work don't provide me with one. It's completely ridiculous I know but I cannot not work from home. I found a really nice for £350 which went straight onto my CC.
My renewal quote was a joke. They are meant to go down - not up! I have never had an accident, I have never had a speeding ticket yet they want me to hack my left arm and leg of with a blunt pair of nail scissors so that I can have the honour of being allowed to drive into work. I managed to find one for a third less than the price but, they don't accept monthly payments - urghh!!! So, that went on the CC. I have some money in my savings account to pay for house repairs (I need to replaster and do other things before I can rent it out) so I transferred the money to pay for my CC bill. I could have waited for next month to purchase new car insurance but, when I waited last time, my cheapest quote increased and I didn't want to take the risk of that happening again.
It never rains but flipping pours in my ickle world!
I now have to replace that money. I have worked out a rough budget in my head.
It will all be ok!0 -
Between this moment in time and next Sunday evening I want to ...
+ have achieved 5 NSDs (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
+ [STRIKE]been to the gym three times[/STRIKE] (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
+ chased up all paperwork regarding car, [STRIKE]pension[/STRIKE], second and third job
+ worked out a realistic and achievable budget for the remainder of the year0 -
Well, my darlings, I have been to the gym and enjoyed an NSD. My legs are aching and I will defo sleep well tonight.
I haven't hit todays sw@gbucks goal. I completed a survey and was disqualified when I had to rate it. I was soooo annoyed!!!!!0 -
I managed to hit yesterdays sw@gbucks goal in the end. I can redeem two vouchers from there but I haven't done it yet. Maybe I will later today or tomorrow.
My legs are still aching from the gym and I am going for a swim later as well. No pain, no gain as they say!
Today will be a spendy day because a friend and I have a much needed catch-up every other week and today is the day. I never spend much on them anyway.
I must spend the morning chasing up all paperwork so I had better get a move on!0 -
I did go to the gym yesterday and I only spent a little bit - about £15. I am going to the gym again tonight and, so far, haven't spent anything
ETA: Today was an NSD and I have a mystery sh0p job to do later in the week0 -
Today is a slightly spendy day as I am meeting some friends in the pub after work. I don't need to draw any money out of the bank though.
Not going to the gym tonight but I will be tomorrow. I am due £1.20 from quidc0 check-in as well. I will update my signature when it arrives in my bank account.
I have noticed that there was a chill in the air today. In fact, I have struggled to stay warm today - brrr! I haven't put the heating on though!0
