£16.88 / £168.84 into my payday month challenge so far. Will be claiming £25 in Amaz0n vouchers on Wednesday to add to the pot and have a few mystery shopping jobs to complete in the next few days. Must list more things on eb@y tomorrow.0

What a year you've had! Sorry to hear about your mum, hope things are OK for you.
You've done really well on the NSD, I like the idea of having a spending fast. I can see a lot of my traits coming out, especially about the month stretching ahead, I spend at the beginning intending to balance it with lean days and before I know it the budget is gone and I've still got a lot of month left. Not good!
Are you still planning on moving in with the OH?

Hello you!
Yes, it has been an awkward year but I am still smiling and the hair dye covers the grey! You just have to get on with things when things like that happen. It was for the best anyway.
Yes, I'm moving in in the next week or so. Packing is so stressful - didn't realise how much stuff I have. I have stuff everywhere! I have been selling some things on eb@y but you wouldn't think it by looking around the place.
Spending fasts are a really good idea but you have to plan them. I could actually do with having another one has it has been a while. In fact, my NSDs have been pretty pants lately - eek!0 -
I like moving somewhere new, planning my new home, getting it all nice and just how I like it. Unfortunately I hate the 'moving' part. I always end up in tears! I'd love to be rich enough to hire one of those companies who come in and do the whole move while I sun myself on a beach somewhere. I highly doubt it will ever happen though.
I'm going to be moving at the end of October so am desperately trying to cut down on stuff, it just grows until it fills every corner.
I'm sure sharing with the OH will bring your bills down nicely, when you're in a couple there are lots of free ways to have fun and save on heating bills.
Let us know how you get on.

I hate the moving bit, too. Oooohhhh all of the disruption royally gets on my nerves. Every time I move I swear to become uber minimalist and tidy but my plans always fall on deaf ears lol.
Ohh yeah, the bills will come down nicely - not too sure about grocery though lol. He is a nightmare to shop with when hungry lol Men and their tummies are a force to reckon with lol0 -
£26.88 / £168.84
I have just redeemed another sh0pnsca@n voucher and have added it to my signature and I did a fantabulous mystery sh0p earlier but I won't add that until I get the funds in my bank account.
I posted my eb@y parcels too but I haven't listed anything yet. Must get a wriggle on - been too busy watching (or swooning over lol) the Olympics. I need to change my surname to Robinson when Tom Daly is concerned - what a bod!!!
only need a few more points to claim another survey voucher. woohoo!0 -
£41.88 / £168.84 (thanks to sw@gbucks - still not included MS or Quidc0 check-in)
I have a total of seven mystery sh0pping jobs booked for this week - the most that I have ever done! I have three to do today and I am plucking up the courage to go and do them - have 'orrible ladies pains and the temptation to laze inside with my blanket and chocolate is too much!
My eb@y pennies landed into my bank account this morning but I moved them to my emergency savings account on the offchance that things go belly up this month (only 24 days until payday).
I need to chase up my student loan today. They haven't updated my balance online for 4 months. Waiting for info from the tax man apparently. I tell you - if roles were reversed I would be up for the high jump if I were four months late in paying a bill, or reaching a work deadline. It's ridiculous! Urghh!
ETA:
Just rang them and the automated blokie said that they are unable to provide balances or settlement figures because their accounts are being updated *le sigh*. According to my P60 and following payslips the damn thing should be almost gone!!!
One MS done and written up (was a telephone call one), two to go. Made another booking, so the grand total has gone up to seven.
Got my thinktank voucher today. I have completed my mystery sh0pping for the day and will think twice about Asd@ MS jobs again! Was a pain! Have to write the reports up now - boo!

You seem to be doing well in here!
Student loans are a pain, when Bob was paying his back we found out that all the payments you make via wage deduction are sent to SL in one lot, normally around September/October after the end of the financial year. So if you cleared you loan in the 1st month of the financial year it would take until September of the following year before the system recognised that you were clear by which point you'd have a massive overpayment.
It may have changed since last year but I doubt it. If you get in touch with them and send them your payslips they can work out what you owe and you can pay it by DD or debit card. You'd still show as having an outstanding balance until the cash comes through from HMRC but they wouldn't be deducting from your wages.
It is a highly efficient system they are running, surely in this day and age it could be updated as payments go in!

lol don't you mean highly inefficient service?! I *finally* got through. My online statement is still wrong but they told me that my balance is only £200 and odd quid. They won't be taking money from my wages anymore - I just need to set up a standing order. And then it will be gone
I have completed all of my mystery sh0ps for the week. I have one to do next week but that it for a home delivered internet food shop.
Sw@gbucks is going ok. I only need 200 bucks to claim my next voucher and I will have that by Sunday or when I get my bonus points - whichever comes first really.0
