Lay awake for ages last night worrying about money or, should I say, the lack of it. I should get paid for my mystery sh0ps on Friday. This will go towards my gas/leccy bill. Have to have lots of NSDs and list more stuff on eb@y.

urghh! I dislike having no money. It's my own fault really and I must remember that soon the millstone of debt will be gone.

    £48.43 / £168.84 (thanks to sw@gbucks - still not included MS or Quidc0 check-in)

claimed £15 in Amazon vouchers and the month is only six days old. I will be claiming my next voucher in a couple days.

Sorry you're worrying about the money situation but at least you're dealing with it and not sticking your head in the sand any more. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll get there in time. I'm going to hit ebay this week, got to get rid of stuff and get the total down, its encouraging to get rid of debt with high interest and then see the totals really start to come down.

Have you moved yet? Stress of that is probably not helping either!

You're doing really well on the voucher front! You should treat yourself to a little something to help keep the motivation going. I'm going to get cracking on Swag Bucks today and hope I can do nearly as well.

    Have a fab day. xx

    hello you :)

I'm still in the process of moving stuff over. It seems to be a never ending task though! Will get there though. Eventually lol

I'm feeling much more positive today thanks. I just get moments of number crunching and fretting about it. Oh, I do like to treat myself with my vouchers - esp on Amaz0n (lovely shoes!!! haha). I know that surveys and the like can be mind numbingly dull at times but I do like the end result.

Just redeemed my fourth Amaz0n voucher of the month thanks to sw@gbucks. Guddo. I only have one buck in my account now - boo! Not to worry, I will rectify that later. I must also do some work for the thinktank as I have done nothing for it so far and I need 50 points for a voucher.

Not been paid for my mystery shops but I was paid for an outstanding one from last payday month but I can't add it to the tally - boo! (only my sig though). When I do get the pennies for it, they will go into my emergency savings account.

Speaking of my sig - I need to focus on my NSDs and add my tiny July total. I haven't had a single one this month - the perils of the summer holidays lol

Well, I have been able to clear my entire CC balance today. I haven't cleared my student loan yet because I need to see if they take anything out on payday. They shouldn't do because it has supposedly been stopped. I will find out in fifteen days and counting.

This means that I am finally in a position to be able to over pay on my bank loan. Hurrah! I owe £6468.67 and the sooner it is gone the better.

Yep my heads telling me to buy textbooks when I get my vouchers but my hearts screaming SHOES LOVELY SHOES! I think I know how this is going to go....

Well done on clearing off that cc balance. You'll be overpaying that loan and it'll soon all be gone.

you shouldn't be getting textbooks - perish the thought! It is the law that survey vouchers etc should only be spent on treats! It is those things that get us through the dark days :)

Yes I've come to the agreement that I really don't need textbooks, the majority of those I have are virtually untouched in favour of better books from the library. Its normally a case of lecturer has written a book, therefore it goes on the essential text list. 1st year was worst as I thought essential meant I must have it, one professor had her hugely expensive new book on the essential list. It cost £70 as no 2nd hand copies were available but bore no relevance at all to the course. It has sat untouched on my shelf and now I'll only get £35 for it .

Shoes definitely will get used so are a far more sensible purchase :money:.

    Hope your weeks started well.

Just claimed another £5 Amaz0n voucher thanks to sw@gbucks. I can't claim anymore this month so I am now collecting for next month.

I have been a bit rubbish on the MSE front and I am still in the process of moving in with my fella - have far too much stuff!!

I did two mystery shops yesterday and I was telephoned today by one company wanting me to do a shop 20miles away but I declined. I only ever do them if I am going to be in town on that day anyway otherwise, once you factor in travel, it isn't usually worth it. I don't ever go to the town in question so there is no point (and I don't know where to park).

I need to nip out but the weather is dull and overcast. I only like going out when there is bright sunshine or freshly fallen snow. I don't do misery and rain :(
