Just had three spendy days but today was an NSD and the first of many for the new week ahead. I do not want to spend any money until next Saturday when we go out. This means that I should have six NSDs under my belt. Fingers crossed!!!
I have finally cancelled Sky tv. I was getting increasingly fed up with screen freezes and all of the repeats. Just how many times do we need to watch the same episode??! Madness!! (I don't btw - the tv is usually background noise). Anyhoo, a much needed £20.50 has been freed up each month (or a whopping £246 a year). Just the gym membership to go. Tbh I keep wanting to keep it as my membership is pretty cheap in comparison to other places. I dunno ... we will see.
Jobs for the week:
+ Complete all surveys. Verrry close to the payout threshold on two survey sites (one a voucher and the other is paypal money)
+ List some things on ebay (read: lots!)
+ Take the rubbish to the tip
+ Tidy up after myself
+ Lots of early nights.
Payday is in 12 days and I have £26 to last. I have petrol in my car and food in the cupboards. I can do it. Gosh, I am looking forward to the day when I can finally stop counting down to each and every single pay day.
I have enough points for my first Amaz0n voucher from sw@gbucks. I haven't added it to my signature yet because I need to respond to a verification email. I hope that it arrives soon and I *must* remember to cancel my netfl1x account as I signed up to a free months trial.0 -
Hiya Snozberry, how did you get on with your list of jobs?
If it was up to me then I would cancel sky TV too, there is so much rubbish on and the channels that do have decent stuff on you can get mostly on Freeview anyway. The OH however would not agree to cancel as he watches the sports channels, which are the only channels we would watch if it was up to him! It is a lot of money and you will be better off!

My list is work in progress! haha I have all week to do it and I'm going to start tonight by giving the house a quick clean during the 30 minute gap between corrie.
Sky is a load of rubbish if you ask me. The advert breaks go on for an age and it is all repeats. My chappie loves his sports but he watches it on his laptop so my tv is spared lol.
Well, today has been another NSD and I sold something on eb@y. Will update my signature after this. Four more NSDs to go until the weekend - hurrah!
The studentloanrep@yment website is taking yonks to update itself. I know how much I have paid because I got my P60 last week. I only owe a few hundred quid on it and ... well, I am being a bit impatient I guess.0 -
Payday in ten days and counting. Phew!
My spending so far ...
Food and household: £73.69
Petrol: £55.74
PO: £18.60
Entertainment: £23
Craft things: £32.92
Stuff and clothes: £63.46
Next payday month I'm going to focus on the final two categories because I shouldn't be spending *that* much.
I'll get there.
some time later ...
I have come home to find a survey voucher sitting on the doormat. I love coming home to find them sitting thereI now have £80 of paper vouchers and £10 Amaz0n vouchers (not including the sw@gbucks). I have spent £20 of Amaz0n vouchers so I have 'earned' £110 in vouchers since the start of the year. This is brill!! I am ->this<- close to the payment threshold of two other survey sites and I have just been invited to take part in the shopnscan food diary - woohoo! You know, I am going to find it soooooo hard to spend my paper vouchers. I'm saving them up until I really need something. Something like a new saucepan - something boring but will be used for a longgg time. I can't justify spending my vouchers on a throwaway fashion piece. My Amaz0n vouchers don't really count because they aren't tangible - just a code so I find it a bit easier to spend them. I have, so far, treated myself to a few craft things.
There is a promotion challengy thingy on sw@gbucks. I have had to gain 70 points today - well I did that quite easily. The new challenge total will be out tomorrow and I really hope that it is another low one. I will struggle to gain 250 points!
Thinking about it, there are a couple of boxsets that I have my eye on so I think that I will save my Amaz0n vouchers for those as well. I save my nect@r vouchers for those as well but I might put nect@r towards Christmas. Oh decisions, decisions!!
Oh bless, my kitty is snoring. Very loudly I must add but it does sound cute.
ETA:
I listed four things on eb@y today and sold one already! An eb@yer asked if they could have one things as a buy it now and I altered the listing. Woohoo! Will update my signatureI have made just under £60 on there this payday month. Woohoo!

Well done on the vouchers, and you are doing very well on ebay! I had an ebay stint a while back and made about £300.
I don't do the surveys and things to get the vouchers, as I dont have very much spare time with my assignments, however they seem to be stacking up quickly for you!![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

£300 - wowza! I can't see me making that much but I will give it a jolly good try. In the past 30 days I have made £52.97 by selling five things so there is some hope for me lol.
One lot of payp@l money has arrived in my bank account today and I put a tenner of it towards the CC debt. My mons00n order arrived but I have sent one top back because it was 'orrible on. The other three were nice so I have kept them.
Sw@gbucks is going nicely and I should - touch wood - have enough points for my second Amaz0n voucher tomorrow. The vouchers take a while to appear though. I'm itching for the first one to turn up so that I can cancel my netfl1x membership.
Still no news on t0pcashb@ck and I am knocking it on the head when I finally get my money from it. I just think that it is a rip off.
I should be able to start my second job soon. I hope so because I really could do with the extra money.0 -
Just claimed another voucher - woohoo! And, I have enough sw@abucks to claim my second Amaz0n voucher. I have included the first voucher in my signatute but not the second. I have also hit the daily challenge total.
My second lot of paypay pennies have arrived in to my bank account. When I log in to do my internet banking I shall shave a bit more of the CC debt. Good times.
you know, I put in heaps of effort for my vouchers. It's silly really and my ex doesn't understand why I obsess over it. Come to think of it, I don't know either! All I know is that I have oodles of paper vouchers and Amaz0n codes to do with what I like
ETA: I'm not going to redeem my sw@gbucks for Amaz0n vouchers. I'm going to save them up and convert them in to payp@l money instead. Will throw it at the CC debt - or! better still! use it as a challenge. I'm going to try to pay the CC debt off before I have the correct number of points to convert to cash. I only need another 17000 points until I have £100 in cash and it has only taken me four days to get 933 points. Yep, the game is, as Young Sherlock Holmes once said, afoot!
(If I can acquire 100 points a day then I should have enough points in 5 months. At the minute I am averaging 248 points a day. Realistically, I'm not going to maintain this average everyday. 100 is definately achieveable and, any more, is a much welcome bonus)
Yay! The sg voucher has comewill update my signature

Well, I have been paid *happy dance*
I am going to try a new approach this month as I always fall foul in the last week before payday. All of my bills have been paid and I have £200 to last the month. Now, most people can make £200 last a long time but I struggle. This needs addressing. I have a ten pound note in my purse. When I have finished typing this, I am going to put it upstairs. And everytime, I get a £5 note, I am going to put it in the same place. This way, if (or when) I get caught short then I am ok. I have my emergency account which helps but - oh I dunno! - I just need to re educate my brain.
I feel like a beached whale at the minute because I am horribly bloated and I have no idea what to do about it. Urgh!!!0 -
I joined sw@buck$ on the 4th May (Star Wars day) which was 23 days ago and I have earned £15 in Amaz0n vouchers. I am aiming for another by the end of the week. I am lovin' this site! It's so easy! I have £25 in vouchers in total and my wishlist is growing by the minute. I was going to collect Paypal money but you get more for your points at Amaz0n.
I sold two things on eb@y over the weekend and another two things are selling. All the more for the cause! This brings the total sales to £90.50. Guddo!
I need to list a few more things on there this week and survey, survey, survey!0
