    It depend son what you're after...views,shopping etc.

    We recently booked a 2 night stay for the Gateshead location (hop,skip and a jump away from the MetroCentre, etc.) and right next to a few resturants if up for a decent meal and drink :)

    If you have kids, what aobut Leiceseter? There are some fantastic curry houses and the National Space Centre is just down the road. Tesco deals will pay for this too.

    Harrogate is a lovely Travel Lodge.Right in the centre of town. Have stayed there a couple of times for £15 a night

    Edinburgh Central was spot on. Bargainous! A very short walk (ie 200') to the main street and a nice stroll to the castle and all the other places you'll wanna see.
  • harrogate north yorks, lovely place, in town centre, just had a £15 friday night. tons of resturants and some quaint pubs and a big wetherspoon out the back for your breakfast.

    Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
