New device

Hi, I have recently sold a smartphone to raise some cash but in the future I would like to purchase a device mainly for calendar, email and playing a few podcasts but don't really know what the best device would be to purchase.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

    A smartphone :o
An intended budget would be handy to know, although there will not be a best, which device does not do the things you wish to do?

Ideally no more than £100. Ideally i was thinking something like an ipod touch but they are near the £200 mark.

I suppose really what im after is a budget ipod touch...

What's the point in having a separate device for "for calendar, email and playing a few podcasts" if you can have all this in your smartphone available for less than £100?

I have an ipod touch, but when I got myself a HTC wildfire for work useage, I found I was using the ipod nex to not at all, not only was it cheaper (at £100) the gps head and other aspects came in handy.
There is the creative ZEN that were under £100 brand new, but the HTC will do all you require without fuss.
  • I did have a look around but couldn't find a cheap smartphone for under £150, I will have to do further research and perhaps start a new smartphone penny jar.

Thank you both for your advice.

O2 SONY ERICSSON X8 MOBILE PHONE NEW ARGOS EBAY £69.99 + DELIVERY

Also popular Orange San Francisco for about £100.
There were many deals on Samsung Galaxy Apollo recently for less than £100.
