You can use the warranty agreement as hamster bedding after you have shredded it.

They dont cover parts that wear, Or subsequent damage caused by a faulty part, Or electrical diagnostics.
Or other diagnostic work...
Etc.. Etc..
So basically it covers anything that doesnt break or doesnt wear.
Can you think of anything that fits into that category?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Warranty Direct do claim to cover wear and tear , diagnostics, unrelated part failure etc.
Just curious if cut and shut's experience was typical of them not living up to their promises. Their web site makes it sound excellent (but there again they wouldnt say were carp would they)
Not a customer nor likely to be for a few years having just bought a new car.
TBH I did get a quote from their web site a few years ago and made the mistake of putting my real mobile number in, they wouldn't stop ringing asking when I would be buying! Had to get quite rude in the end :mad:0 -
Hi guys,
Looking at getting extra warranty for my car after the official warranty runs out. I`ve heard that RAC and Warranty Direct do some, does anyone have any experience of using and claiming? Thanks
Get extended warranty from your dealer.
For example, a Nissan extended warranty for years 4 and 5 comes to a few hundred with 2 classes available.
Far better than the crap stand alone rubbish.0 -

Sister had a 1999 focus diesel, Cut a few times, Always when on the motorway.
Garage suspected head gasket or small crack in the block that opened up whilst at speed.
Warranty company refused to payout for the work required to find the fault.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
These companies exist because there are millions of people out there too stupid to put a few quid away each month for repairs and maintenance.
Cars need maintenance or they break down. It truly is that simple but everyone thinks it won't happen to them.0 -

No, as I said

What prompted my query was on another forum members were talking about the cost of extending their Jaguar XF warranty, which was reported as being at about £900+ per year.0
