i find it usefull info as grabbit is probably one of the most visited forum's on MSE there are a few dodgy sellers and buyers on ebay ..nearly got fleeced myself recently by a dodgy buyer
  • Dont forget if you buy off ebay using paypal you are protected. I recently had to contact ebay over a deal that failed and they were superb and refunded all my money. Took a little time but at least i got it back.

Their is nothing wrong with people telling you that you are wrong to put this info on the Grabbit board.Which you have done.Their are thousands of more important imfo than what you have put on here that people could let us know about. But they dont..and why?.Because it is a grabbit board
If you read the whole thread, it was more about the rudeness of someone simply posting a line of question marks, as opposed to asking the OP to clarify what she was posting about. We can argue the pros and cons of what does and doesn't get posted in this forum 'til the cows come home, but it doesn't hurt to treat people with respect and not deliberately try and make them feel stupid and undermined. That's just downright pedantic and unhelpful.

I know some people are just ultra sensitive on this thread and read things into a harmless comment or?????[probably because it did not make sense on the grabbit thread].Glad its been moved now and maybe the OP will read the appropiate thread titles before the next one is done.

You are perfectly right, a line of question marks is a perfectly acceptable way of expressing puzzlement and requesting clarification, and not in any way rude. The OP has badly misinterpreted that post.
  • o m g!!!!!
its no wonder people are afraid to post on here! we are supposed to be helping eachother, not trying to suck up like little five year olds! you all make me laugh so much, its like prefect patrol - please miss she did that, he put the wrong comment in the wrong place!:p
grow up!! the poor op was just doing the decent thing and trying to warn everyone, as someone already said, this is the most visited site, so it makes sense to put it here!, especially with christmas coming up, i for one, am pleased to know that we all look out for one another and warn eachother !
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ IT - THEN DON'T!!!!!
and in future, instead of being sarcastic and putting a line of question marks etc, just ask the op to explain what it is you are unsure of!
but most of all get a life!!
i keep losing weight, but it just keeps on finding me!!!!!!:D

In fairness, I don't think questions marks imply either sarcasm or anything else other than that a poster is confused - the post title and OP sounded like they were referring to something about which posters would already be aware, which may have caused the confusion, but I certainly didn't read it as an attack so much as a request for clarification.
  • I think there's a number of people on this thread being overly sensitive to the point they are now guilty of being the 'rude ones'.
