    I absolutely agree, but there's a limit to how many times a person needs to be told that. There's a difference between a few people making a point strongly and backing one another up and everyone piling onto the poster. And the latter course of action is maybe likely to make them dig in their heels and lend the money just to prove all the doubters wrong.

    And we'd all like to be wrong right? There's no one here lining up their "I told you so" post all ready to go is there?

    I bet her house will be worth a lot less than she paid for it in the next two years..how do you get your money back then?
    house prices are going nowhere but down in the next few years.
    It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
    Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
    If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
    If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
    If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
