  • Not the case at all. Check your facts first. If you care to see my reply #30.

Sorry, I meant 'you' as in 'people' not 'you' as in 'yourself' in response to the 'we' mentioned in your post. I can see that you 'yourself' did indeed answer the question.

How exactly is pointing out that the OP is an adult being a troll?

To any sound-minded, sane and well balanced person this sound like utter madness.

I absolutely agree, but there's a limit to how many times a person needs to be told that. There's a difference between a few people making a point strongly and backing one another up and everyone piling onto the poster. And the latter course of action is maybe likely to make them dig in their heels and lend the money just to prove all the doubters wrong.

And we'd all like to be wrong right? There's no one here lining up their "I told you so" post all ready to go is there?

No probs, in fact the answer to everything is actually 42. ;)

I was going to put 42 but I thought someone would quote post 42 and quiz me on it I really didn't want to go back down that road.

Anyway - this is all very nice but I have ebay sales to pack.

But the OP didn't want advice on whether to go through with it or not, she wanted advice on how to do it.

OK then, here's a new thread for you:

"Dear MSE, I've decided I want to drill a hole through my skull and into my brain. Could someone please tell me about the implications of this for the drill bit, and which brand of cordless drill I should buy? I hear Black and Decker are quite reliable."

I bet her house will be worth a lot less than she paid for it in the next two years..how do you get your money back then?
house prices are going nowhere but down in the next few years.
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
