Talk Talk cold calling

they knocked on my door a few months back now... i said i dont speak english (in english lol) after about 5 mins i said im already with talk talk..
he seemed a bit miffed...

He was also with 2 non official looking people. Not a very good standard to set!

They're not from Talk Talk,they work for a marketing company in a self employed, non salaried (over here it's Skye Marketing) role on behalf of Talk Talk & they get paid only on commission, so no sale,no payday.
The two other people with him were most likely trainees or they're out with the salesman as part of the interview.(thats what they did when I was interviewed,didn't take the job tho,not financially secure enough for me)
I had them at my door the other month,told him not interested & I wouldn't touch Talk Talk with a bargepole,salesman still carried on with his spiel....

Talk Talk recently did a sales drive in our area coming round two at a time..one who identified herself as the 'manager' was so scruffy and dirty I felt like paying her to just get some new clothes.
But we had a very brief short chat which was amicable and she realised I was'nt interested and she went on her way.... but there is no way I would have even let her in my house for one minute.

I have also had one of these Cold door to door sales people, they knocked the door, ignoring the 'No Business done at the door' sign ( printed from this website ) she then spoke to me like I was her best mate with just one fatal error, I choose my mates because they don't talk with the ever increasing tone and they deffinatly do not say 'cool' after every sentence. Kaitlin wanted to talk to me about the 'letter' sent the other week, what letter ? The one everyone else has aparently... Talk Talk has just replaced the BT Exchange with a 3x faster one but you have to be a member of Talk Talk to get the benefit. One thing was she asked to use the home phone to get a speed test after she told me two other people she had spoken to get 8meg... She started filling out a DD Mandate but I refused to give my bank details to someone at the door, she said it was to just 'reserve' a line, with the same number and NO line rental for £21 and there is a 14 day optin if I want to opt out. I said I don't want to opt out, I believe in opting in. The respone was quite surprising a change in attitude and ... Wanting to know why I wanted not to save money, Why do I want to waste money, Why do I want to stay with 'slow broadband' ! I told her ' What I want to do with my money is my business. She told me this has been a total waste of time ! I opened the door , wished her well and she left. Just looked up the deal on Talk Talk webside and could get the same deal for £3.25 and line rental from £10.80.
Makes you feel as if you're being scammed, I felt quite angry with the way I was tricked into letting her in and using my home fone and not least the change in attitude from nicey nicey mate to Miss teen agressive ! I'm a Fourty something Bloke, 6ft, slim. These people are not put off by looks, they will try-it-on with anyone...
