Saw this deal on vodafone:

1) Is that £22/month and only £11/month for the 1st 3 months or is it usually £44/month but £22/month for 1st 3 months?
2) The handset is free. Why when i rang vodafone at the end of my contract did they say this phone would be £340/£400?
