As I have said, during the day I can reasonably well look after myself. She already helps me out during the day with household chores. Of course she has her own life, but without any money her options are limited.
With a bit more in her pocket she could go out more with her friends.

Yes the money is there to be given. I am just looking for a way that someone can have it. The best person would be my daughter.
What is so wrong with that?
If my husband was out of work, he would have it.

Surely, if you are entitled to some money, wouldn't you take it?
Poor kid, mummy will have you dependant on benefits for the rest of her life.
I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!

  • With any luck you award for DLA will disappear as it is obvious that you DON'T need care as you can "manage"

It would be really helpful if you could let us know your full name and address and NINO so that we can report you!

Are you as greedy about everything else in your life - with the attitude that if there is a benefit that could be claimed you will do everything to get it - even lie - then no wonder the benefit system is faltering!

Is that the smell of "Eau de Troll" in the air?

After what she posted last night on another thread I think so. ;)

You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

Oh, I know - yes, get her to apply for the CA and IS and then you can take it back off her as 'compensation' for bringing her up - all your problems solved at once! :D

  • what i was trying to say is that for a 16 year old to have to care for her mum just to get the money is wrong. i claim CA for my 19 year old profoundly disabled daughter....i also have a nearly 18 year old daughter who also is profoundly disabled. I get one carers allowance despite caring for BOTH girls 24/7.
I WOULD GIVE ANYTHING I HAD to let my girls have the opportunites your daughter has, being a carer to me would be the last thing i would want them to do.....at 16 they should be thinking about jobs and careers not getting the CA.....am sorry you disagree but this is my opinion. and it looks like alot of other peoples too.

I am trying to improve life for my family

  • That is between me and her isn't it?
If anybody does ask, she does at least 35 a week.

Why has everybody got a downer on trying to claim as much as we can?

Errrr- maybe because we tax payers have to work a bit harder and pay more of OUR wages to support your fraudulent claim.

Why the hell do I go to work, pay horrendous transport fees, stay away from my 4 year old for 10 hours a day, just so your daughter can get a bit of pocket money.

What is wrong with her getting a bit of pride and getting a part time job in a shop or something- after all she is only hanging around at home all day, and you never know, she might find she has a work ethic.
