serves the man right. Makes you wonder why staffies get a bad name when this one appears to be so tolerant of the abuse it is experiencing. The sad thing with staffs is that they generally would put up this sort of abuse and still come back for more. Very sad, hopefully the poor poochy will get rehomed with someone who loves him/her.

That bloke deserved it, I hope they left scars, both mental and physical on him.
  • He doesnt look injured in the photo http://www.thisisgrimsby.co.uk/Man-charged-dog-abuse-appeared-court/story-13612326-detail/story.html which is a shame, he has been granted bail and is off to London to live with his mother till the trial on Nov 10th... it doesnt say that his girlfriend has been charged yet she was the one using a broom handle. The road they live on is mainly rented so I guess she will up-sticks and hide too.
I dont just feel sorry for the dog (now with the Blue Cross) but I feel sorry for the little boy being brought up by people like that seeing his parents behaving that way seeing his pet being treated like that and thinking that is normal
  • Poor dog:(. I hope it finds a loving new home.
  • There's no way i could watch the video. What vile people, and you can't help thinking that by not responding, the RSPCA and police are perpetuating this type of behaviour. Good on the mob.
  • I can't watch the video, it would make me sick. It is good to know that there are people out there who will take action against people who don't respect their animals. Animal abusers beware, you are outnumbered!

Good - nice to say the piece of crap got some justice. With a bit of luck he'll die a premature, painful death. Absolute scum.

Equally, don't want to see the video but I'm so glad that he got taste of his own medicine. Hope he gets a lift time ban of keeping animals.
And shame on RSPCA for not acting. What else do they need as evidence?
  • We seem to be missing the video of his visitation from the locals.

Shame, that. But I suppose they might have been identifiable from it. So fair enough.
