What does "valid until" mean?

I have just been into dominos pizza with a voucher for one 9-inch pizza for £1.50. The terms and conditions state "valid until 20/10/2011" i.e. today but I have been told this means it is no longer valid as it ran out yesterday (19/10/11). Surely this is wrong and it is still valid today? I am going to complain to dominos…

Could go either way. Technically until means "up to" but not necessarily including.

Did you try it on their website?
