It does seem incredible that they can do this, but it is worth it for them because it's free advertising cause everyone spreads the word, some people will pay for the deal then forget to redeem it so they get £5 for nothing, lots of people will sign up for Paypal and also they make money cause if you spend the £15 on something online then Paypal make a percentage from that too.Oh no, not you again!:money:0

Don't get me wrong I did the Boots treat street yesterday but there is something about the wording on this I'm not happy with.
It looks to me as if you need to spend the £5 voucher with gumtree to activate the £15 credit. It does say you can get a full refund if you don't buy anything from gumtree but how much are their deals normally?
Anyone else read it like this?0 -

Thanks OP, going to give this a go I think! One question though, I have a modest little stash of money in my Paypal account from some recent eBay sales - if I add the £15 credit to the existing balance, how can I make sure that I spend the credit before it expires, rather than spending the existing balance IYSWIM?
Anyone know?0 -
Ok, I think I'm there now takes a while
We buy a voucher for £5 to redeem with gumtree by the 3rd Nov and they put £15 into our paypal account by 10th Nov to spend anywhere that takes paypal. Is that it?
