I avoid Valentines as much as possible - it's also my birthday, and I sulk hugely when it gets ignored in favour of a 'Hallmark' day (see, getting grumpy already).
Of course, I sulk even more when it gets forgotten and my birthday remembered...(it's a well advertised national day for goodness sake!!) but maintly 'cos I think it's important to keep a chap on his toes...:D0 -

Lot of sulking going on there. It could be worse. You could have been born on the 25th of December.

Quite true - I'm thinking of forming some sort of support group for those of us born on prezzie-related days (or 29th Feb)....
As for the sulking - one is rather amazing at it, thankyouverymuch.... and likes to stick to what she's good at!0 -

The pet struggles, but then he is an Infantryman.... I swear only put up with him because its like living with a human shaped puppy (albeit a mostly toilet trained one):oI hope your weren't holding that breath of yours...
Nope I learned long ago that yelling is more effective than turning purple! Not that he would notice either.Knitting_Nora wrote: »Nope -there with you. Plus I try and ensure I'm left alone to put it all together - nothing worse (ie inclined to make me throw heavy things) than having back seat instruction!
Much easier to get it done on your own, back seat instructors are almost as bad as back street drivers or those bloody weirdos who come and talk to me at work about exersize plans and healthy eating. *shudders and reaches for the last bits of chocolate brownie*It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
