    Wanting makes your character stronger....

If your character is plenty strong enough, then it's 6 balls of Wendy Pampas (100g balls), 12mm pins, and Wendy Pampas Easy Knit patter 5449. It's literally just knit and purl all the way through - nothing fancy. And it can be done in a few evenings (hopefully without all the undoing that I do!).
  • Thank you for all the lovely comments on the shrug. Next will be finishing off Grandad's cardigan (just need to sew the sleeves on and put a zip in). I've got that many projects to sort by Christmas that I've actually had to schedule specific projects to each week between now and the big day...which is probably either sad or anal...or both (sadly anal?). So these three are this week's projects to finish. Next week I have a throw to do, and some photos of friends to sort and frame as additional prezzies.

    Total aside:

NL - let us know what happens in terms of any rebate...I love a success story!

LT - Potential Dilly sounds lovely....we're gonna want photos when you get her!!
  • My word you have the bull by the horns and the pins at the ready...and funny to boot! All lovely work the MSEing and the knitting.

Thank you for your kind words Dot *blushes*.

This morning I've received the most exciting email from Next....it brings news of my monthly statement...and not only has lots of zeros where there used to be other, larger, numbers....and the words "no payment necessary".

    Think I may frame it....

    Have a goodun'

yay to the No payment necessary! we need dancy smilies if you ask me for such an event.

I've also had to schedule lots of knitting in, i've gone from not doing any for months to needing to get various cardi's, teddy bears and hotwater bottle covers finished before the end of Nov/beginning of Dec and someone at work likes a kids cardi so much she wants me to knit one for her neice by Jan. she also would like it for herself but as she's not a 30 chest we'll not go there lol!

No payment comments are lovely aren't they! Well done Nora.
