Anyone know if it's easy to extend the cabling from the sky dish to the box?
Thinking about moving the telly, but the cabling isn't long enough
thanks

You can buy extension cabling from most shops like B&Q ect but it's not good quality cabling & fittings,This however is CAI approved cable & fittings that may be a quid or so dearer, but the's less to go wrong unlike cheapo cable.

it simply screws onto the end of the cable that connects to the box.0 -
Thankyou both
Looks like plan B may be a goer

Personally just bought a satellite fly lead and adaptor to add another 5 meters to the cable.
Whilst generally I do have sucker written on my forehead and spend much more on cabling between my components and speakers etc on this occasion the dish is on the roof 5 floors above and on the opposite side of the house to the socket. I know the builders who wired up the distribution system didn't use the most expensive stuff in the world and so adding a little more to the end wouldn't make a material difference.
I did do the pepsi challenge before actually spinning the room round and couldn't tell any difference at all.0 -

The best quality cable is about 80 pence per meter so there is no reason not to buy the best, it is normally far cheaper than poor quality fly leads from Dixons maplins etc...0
