Im starting to think some of you just want an argument cause your bored!! Why else would you feel the need to post something that clearly isnt going to be any help to me?0

You do state in your post "I then receieved an email saying my insurance would be cancelled within 3 days if i did not send the items. I contacted them again and told them i was waiting for a letter from my previous insurer to prove my no claims entitlement and received an email back stating that i had till the 15th to send the items (which meant 2 days) but i still had not received the letter so i could not do anything about it."
If the uninsured driver was at fault in the accident you can claim your losses (There might be an excess deducted) from th MIB0 -

I didn't say they would cancel it if not sent on the 15th if you read my OP correctly, thank you very much!! I said they gave us till the 15th, but they didn't say, oooh if you don't send it to us by the 15th it will be cancelled, they normally always send an email with notice of cancellation, but they failed to do this.
I have read numerous bad reviews on this company where they have let other people drive around with no insurance for a couple of weeks without notifying them their insurance had been cancelled....
My partner did not know the insurance had been cancelled as they did not notify him of cancellation, and according to the MIB they should have!!
And yes, i am quite aware we all pay for the MIB, including myself!! I have never had problems with insurance companies... ever, never drove without insurance or tax so don't try and tar me and my partner with the same brush as the idiot driving without insurance and continues to do so... Not for long though hahahahahahaha Vengeance is sweet!!
Now what's that well known saying... If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. I suggest you get acquainted with it.
I'm not trying cause an argument, just giving you a few home truths. If you ask for advice on a public forum you have to take the rough with the smooth.
Perhaps you should re-read your OP yourself. You said eCar told you in an email that they would cancel the policy. As I asked before, did you not think they meant it?
Now you're planning your vengeance. How grown up of you. Showing your true colours now.0 -
If i wanted a few home truths i'd have asked for them... I simply asked whether the insurance company could do this, not for home truths!
Showing my true colours? She was the one threatening my partner at the scene, even though she had caused the crash, saying "Do you know who my son is" etc. What i meant by vengeance is sweet is because i called the police to report her for driving without insurance again... today, and they have assured me she will be dealt with accordingly. That is vengeance enough for me thank you.0 -
:rotfl:
Another grown up response...delete your posts because somebody doesn't agree with your viewpoint. Nobody was rude to you.0 -
