When I got a quote from them last week is said £730 for the year, and when i signed up on Tuesday, i got the same price. Think i go in in a nick of time though, i got an email from them welcoming me, but advising me that the letter that they'd sent in the post showed an incorrect, higher figure. It advised me to ignore it as they attached the correct prices to the email. £76 a month, which is 25% higher than normal to account from winter, and thats based on the last 12 months reading, which was exceptional high due to a faulty boiler and 3 people in the house. I'm very happy so far...:oGetting married 23rd June 2012!!:o0

Have you had your Welcome Pack through? That should state the tariffs you've fixed on.
Yes just checked my email - welcome pack attached quoting .0910 per kWh - says its for OVO new energy and a fixed contract for 1 year.
So hoping that is the old/cheaper rate.
p.s.
If anyone is thinking of changing over I will happily recommend you - just pm me with your name and emailTypically confused and asking for advice0 -
Quite confusing, as some comparison sites have already incorporated the new prices, whereas others haven't. Basically, if you've applied and have got a letter telling you you'll still be on the old prices, you should be ok for the next 12 months. Otherwise, be careful.0

One of the big problems with OVO quotes is that they don't version their tariffs, so when you run quotes through comparison sites you don't know which prices they are using.
Some of the sites get round this by date stamping the tariff name but you will need to know when you signed up in order to get an accurate quote.
Remember this when you tariff comes to an end or you may be quoting against their latest prices rather than the prices you are actually charged.0 -

Hi I've moved both myself and my parents to OVO in the last few weeks.
So far so good but the transfers haven't gone through yet so the proof will be in the pudding I suppose.
However, the DDs have been in line with exactly what was expected and intial information to explain the process and dates etc was very good as I didn't really have a clue - never having moved before.

forgot to say when they send your welcome pack confirming DD amounts and dates they also confirm all the pricing as well.0

It will probably go though with minimum of fuss. I switched from Scottish Power in July and it went without a hitch. No termination costs with SP as i'd moved on notification of a price rise, and they owed me about £120 which I credited to my OVO account. They seem to calculate the DD pretty well, but they might pitch it slightly higher for you with the winter quarter nearly upon us. Nice clear info though on the bills. Can't really fault them so far.
