Out of interest I called on a Tuesday morning.
I got quite annoyed in the end & just cancelled.
I have not been contacted since then with any offers to come back.
I can live without it but my OH is missing his footie

We cancelled ours and didn't hear anything for about 3-4 months, then they started calling each month offering various incentives to come back.
It must be all about their targets, I presume that they have targets to hit for new customers, returning customers, etc.
If they're going below the targets then they'll be more likely to offer incentives.
If on or above target they probably couldn't care less if you cancel...
My advice would be sit it out and wait until they start offering it again - then fight for your best deal!
We were persuaded to come back after being offered a free Sky+ box, free installation and Sky World at £10 per month for the first 3 months.

I would be interested in doing this myself.

Oh too right. The TiVo is the best bit of kit we ever bought! And I was really sceptical at first. It has changed the way we watch TV for sure!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Hi I just phoned sky too - no deal was offered - didn't ask to cancel though - just asked if he could reduce my costs any. he said to try again anoter day as the 'deals come up on a screen - but there was none with my name on it'! Can't complain really , as we have had Sky + on the full package for 15 months now. I will try again in a few months time. I also asked him about the rumour circulating that sky are dropping their £10 charge for Sky + recording capabilitites - but he knew nothing of that either.
:cool:No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

Just phoned sky, offered no deal apart from sky+ for £49. I was told there would be no extra cost to our package just a one of fee of £490
