This is what I was going to say. Id be very surprised if the Sky retreval department didnt come back to you in the next couple of weeks, cap in hand."I'm not even supposed to be here today."0 -
We had Sky and to be honest it was complete crap that we was paying for.
I got myself a motorised satellite dish setup, its great - cost about £450 including setup and now i can get free channels from all round the world.0 -
I cancelled mine yesterday but she was just interested in flogging Sky Broadband even though its not available in my area!0

I tried to cancel twice - it just cost me a huge phone bill hanging on the line. Eventually, in my shopping mall was an offer for £49 for Sky + and free installation and £31 per month for all 6 packages (no films or sport) and that was all I was after for 2 years. Sky plus is amazing and now I realise what all the fuss was about. (offer was just before christmas).Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 20160

Come on lads/lasses, do you really need to pay sky £40+ per month for sky, The longer we hold back , the sooner mr Murdoch will try to get us back, Summer's a comming ,SOON, get the fresh air spend the £40 a month on treats for the family and wait for that phonecall from Sky, IT'LL come, believe me, and when it comes let them know you'll come back for a minimum of 50% for 6 months, I'LL not come back for less. Just hold your nerve, Alan.Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0

Just built myself a Home Theater Pc....it has all the featues of Sky+ (plus the ability to rip my DVDs to disk, MP3, Pictures to hard disk etc)...bought all the parts s/h off Ebay - total cost £250...no more lining the Murdoch's pockets for me!0

Or buy yourself a second hand TiVo off Ebay. Still knocks the pants off Sky+.0

So what channels for example are worth having? Is this the stuff you get when you travel to asia in the summer and stay in a buget hotel? There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0 -
I was looking at downgrading my sky package last week, but hubby and son are adamant we keep sky sports, daughter is adamant we keep films, it only saves about £3 per month to have one and not the other so it looks like we're stuck with what we have, although they cut most of our channels off 2 days ago as we missed a DD due to changing bank accounts.
Maybe I should try cancelling0 -
I cancelled my Sky last November. I had been a customer for eleven years & they offered me nothing. I asked if they could discount & they would not.
Out of interest I called on a Tuesday morning.
I got quite annoyed in the end & just cancelled.
I have not been contacted since then with any offers to come back.
I can live without it but my OH is missing his footie
