Hey - Have you thought about hiring a cottage or a chalet out instead ? - much much cheaper - this is what I am doing this weekend - for 3 nights paying £120 - and there are some lovely places around - I searched on ebay.... just a thought....0

We normally stay at the Glan Aber Hotel in Betws-y-Coed when we visit Snowdonia for our caving/mine exploring:

It does a great breakfast, rooms OK (some a little tired but the hotel is slowly being renovated, central in Betsy with a car park, decent restaurant and a nice bar to while away the evening in.The man without a signature.0 -
