I spent £5 or so on some organic eggs, flour, butter and lemons to make lemon muffins. Which were great by the way, and well worth the effort. Oh yeah, and an Observer, cos it's Suuuhuuuuunday.

    peace out

  • Hi my first week was not within my budget - i said £25 but actually spent £28.98. but that did include 3 parcels that i had forgotten about (1 to america) and a night out that i didn't really want to cancel as has been a long time. I did say no to another night out so was pleased about that!!:j

I have already spent £13.99 today in monsoon as they have a 70% off sale so did a bit of spending for birthdays and next christmas  but i won't spend what i normally do am counting it as full price.

so this week having already spent that i will still try for £20 as not much going on this week.

Its been a no spend day for me today, but I wont enter the challenge for this week cause I know that I am going to go well over due to a funeral that I am attending tommorrow, I have been asked to get a few bits and pieces and obviously I will not ask for the money back but it will mean I will be waqy over my £15 budget. Roll along pay day..............
  • Hi everyone,

Well my budget last week was £44.35 and I spent £38.72. I spent more than I wanted and more than I thought I had, but at least now I can see where it went.

This week I had £42.30 for everything, I spent £19.56 on groceries and £2.00 on a Big Issue. So my challenge budget for this week is £20.94.

My friend is coming to stay for the weekend, so I'm treating myself to going out money from my 'clothes and treats' account for that.

    Good luck everyone. :T

    Hi

Have been reporting my daily spends on the thread since Wednesday so now feel brave to join in with a budget. Am going to set myself £20 which is for anything that I spend apart from grocery shopping. So any snacks, meals, miscellaneous spends that are not part of a grocery shop (tend to do big shop on friday and then a top up on Tuesday for fresh fruit, milk and bread) will come out of this allowance.

Forgot to say today was a NSD for me wooo hooo

    Hello

I've not done any spending today - but I'd like to join the challenge if I may. I'll set my budget for the week at a tight but possible £25 please.

    Good luck everyone
