I also signed up to the talk talk promotional package paying £114 for a years line rental plus half price broadband at £3.50 per month. I was due to receive a £60 tesco voucher.
U switch simply say the transaction has been completed an I will receive my reward within 60 days - which is odd seeing as I signed up to the package well over 60 days ago. They haven't responded to any of my further emails.
Talk talk are completely useless. They think the £114 I paid them was just an advance credit and they are deducting their standard monthly line rental fee? I've written to them on four occasions and they seem to think the answer is for me to sign up again to the package - despite me getting a confirmation confirming that I'd signed up correctly to the line rental scheme.
I'm particularly frustrated as the only reason I signed up was because it was part of martins weekly email and I thought the process would be easy. It's been anything but and I'd advise anyone thinking of signing up to talk talk or sung uswitch to reconsider.0 -
I have also had a terrible experience with talktalk / uswitch. Talk talk customer services are an absolute disgrace. After 2 hours of phone calls with inept, ill tempered and down right rude call centre staff I still couldn't get them to admit that if talktalk directors engage in a joint promotion with uswitch they should bear the responsibility regarding why I haven't received my voucher after, as of today, roughly 120 days. After all talktalk are receiving my monthly payment, not uswitch. All I'm told is it's uswitchs fault. (that's if you can speak to an agent that's even heard of tesco let alone a
tesco voucher, and believe me that is incredibly difficult) eventually after many phone calls I received a uswitch tesco voucher query email address. The reply about a week later advised me that I would receive it after 90 days of my start date. I was annoyed as was expecting it mid November but thought it would come in handy receiving it just before Christmas. Needless to say it still has not arrived. Have now contacted the talktalk / moneysaving expert representative directly to see if this can finally be resolved, but please take this as a clear warning, anyone thinking of taking out a talktalk/uswitch promotion be very very wary about their promises.0 -
I've had exactly the same experience, and customer services were compleetly usless. Each time i ask to speak to a suppervisor they pass me on to another rep and I have to explain again and get nowhere. Atleast BT were helpfull, I'll be back there when the 12months are upI also signed up to the talk talk promotional package paying £114 for a years line rental plus half price broadband at £3.50 per month.
