I go off to work and come back to find you rowdy lot drinking on the thread. You'd better not spill anything and no smoking in here!

Lovely to "see" you all here and deep thanks for understanding where I was coming from this morning. I'm not someone who shares feelings easily and I was very nervous of exposing myself like that - whoever just gave the dirty laugh put down your drink and get yourself a black coffee:rotfl:

Of course we know on an intellectual level we have a limited time on earth but I suppose a lot of us have a sneaky feeling that an exception will be made in our case:rotfl: Now I know that one day I will get a tap on the shoulder and someone will say "HELLO MA" (another pratchett fan)

Actually I may get myself a small port and lemon and sit myself in the corner there.

Don't ever worry about 'exposing' yourself...you do need to vent how you feel and sometimes, a bunch of people on the internet who you don't 'really' know are JUST PERFECT. You can say what you really want to, and not hold back, because believe me it's all better out than in... otherwise it just festers.

Now where did I put my glass of wine?

All I put in my brownies is white, milk and dark chocolate chunks, marshmallows, caramel sauce and chopped up fudge bars, all in HUGE amounts. There isn't space for any addition herbage. ;)

You know how to get a girl to come out of lurkdom! Is there any chance of a recipe, or a link to one?

Mine's a kir, or a kir royale if we're feeling flush! (Or to quote my mum on the subject - who got a bit confused - "a kirry"!)

Don't know but Foster Mummy said on her blog that Dearly Beloved and the rest of the family are fine so that plus the fact she implied she's under contractual restrictions suggests it's work related and that someone has complained about her blog. Though she gives quite a lot of personal information, I have never known her say anything unprofessional so I do hope she's not in any trouble
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

No idea what's gone on unless she's been on the receiving end of more carp from internet weirdos. Must be a full moon for that ;)
