I clean the poop out morning and evening and also put the bag over my hand - my least favourite job of any I can think of, especially if it's still warm. We have just bought a covered, filtered litter box which is kept in the basement and I can now not smell a thing.

OH's weekend job is to clean the entire thing and change the litter.

Hi Snuggles - how'd it go at the vets?

Hi rfta, it was all good thanks! Maisie is fine, the vet thinks she has had several litters in her short life, and because she is a small cat it's left her with a pronounced bulge. He gave her a really good check over, and I asked him about a few other things I was unsure of. It was a relief that everything is ok, and I'm glad I took her.

She was so good. I have a carrier with a clear perspex front, and apart from the odd meow, she spent the journey and the waiting time in the vets just gazing around watching the world go by.

I can't believe how much I love this little cat after only a few days!
