Maybe it would appease some of you if we had a poll to decide if we need a poll...
But it will get moved and then we will have to tell people where to find it which will upset the minority again :wall:
Anyhow, behave everyone otherwise the thread might get closed:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Of course it is only representative of those who can be bothered to vote
I never said they are 967k active members I said "many of who wont use the forums much"
Why are you trying to pick at holes at my posts when non exist
So why go and find out and mention how many people have registered then???
You was trying to highlight how few had voted compared to how many registered users there are. Pointless and a huge hole in your post.0 -

As someone else has just mentioned and as I have mentioned previously, the poll was moved to another thread where no one even knew it existed. What is the point of a poll if no one even knows about? As I have said before, the fairest way would have been to have had the poll on the grabbit board where people who used the grabbit board could see it and vote if they wanted. It was hardly railroading, it was making people aware of the poll.
A very balanced, logical explanation.
If anyone still wishes to argue in the face of such simple reasoning, they are just trying to have an argument where there need not be one.

I was trying to make a point, some would have us believe that, that poll is truly representative of what people want, it isn't.
My point is not pointless just because my views differ from your own you try look for holes when none exist. Your better arguing with yourself I am sure you would win
Only thing that is pointless is arguing with you so I will refrain from itFrench_Knickers wrote: »So why go and find out and mention how many people have registered then???

The poll is not representative of the forums only those who can be bothered to vote
There is 967,676 members many of who wont use the forums much. There are some not sure how many there never use the grabbit forum so the poll is not representative of the forums only those who can be bothered to vote
If people cannot be bothered to vote, how can they expect their argument or feelings to be taken into consideration.
wonder how many of the 976,676 have ever posted a grabbit, deal or just post a question about their own situation and never even say thanks to people who post a reply or just registered then realised you dont have to.
Also a user like myself who has three user names, i changed my first because it was my real name and then again when approached at work where someone had put 2+2 together and worked out it was me by post's about my local store's and advice about the company i worked for.
so its no good saying most people dont vote if they dont vote it shows they dont care about the forum, its just about what they can get out of the forum.
As for asking about a Tesco own thread.... People have short memories and seem to have forgot what happend to the Boots Thread :mad:0 -

I'm sorry but you are wrong. You can ignore those who choose not to vote as they fall into the category of those who will go with whatever is decided. You are then left with those who vote in the poll. They are the only people who matter, provided the numbers who vote are sizeable enough to be taken seriously.
Anyway, best be off as I'm need of a few fishcake recipes!0 -

All that you are doing is reinforcing my point - a select group of posters are doing everything they can to shout down anybody that dares to disagree with them. What you fail to realise is that the only viewpoint you are harming by this behaviour is your own.0 -
