Although I know Sainsburys have undoubtably increased prices prior to the sale (most retailers do!) I have still saved £83 against cheapest prices elsewhere and that's good enough for me!

The last 2 items had hugely inflated RRP's and I think I probably paid around what they are actually worth at half price, but got them to put away for birthdays as my boys will love them.

Popped into Neston Sainsburies an hour ago and although they stock about 15 lines of toys (if that!) they had a shelf full of cars 2 lego sets down to £7 (3 different types - tokyo pitstop etc). They also had plenty of the Sylvanian (? windmills - didn't look too closely) at £25.

Glad I don't work for customer services as I suspect they are going to be busy over the next week!!!

At the same branch I was charged full price (£25) for the Francesco Cars 2. And Glow Buzz (£41.99) Didnt say Half Price underneath on receipt, thats how I knew I'd been charged wrong. But when Customer Services scanned it, 5mins after paying, it went through at £12.99. I think they were probably updating the system.

i was @ darnley store glasgow this morning and it was chaos can anyone confirm if they have got or seen the fireman sam training tower at all in any stores?
it is on the sainsburys website but not half price, i am wondering if any of the stores actually have it?
would save me the bother of going again as its only this and sylvanian families (which were not being restocked) i am after.

We managed to get to store today and it was pretty busy. People literally just tipping items into their trolley without a second glance as to what they are, presumabley just to return later of fleabay!

I got a few bits though which i'm quite pleased with i hope they were good buys;

1X Play Doh Ice Cream Factory 7.49

Not a massive overhaul but a good few bits to get us started for Crimbo

No signs of any Rapunzel stuff my local store though unfortunately and i take it they took all the leapfrog stuff off? Gutted i wanted to try and get a storio!

Went to Archer Rd in Sheffield this morning and got a few bits but there's not loads there. Just been to Crystal Peaks branch and they have tonnes of stuff, in pallets, on the toy aisle, on the end of aisles. Loads of stuff being brought out all the time. I was only there 2 hours ago- less even. HTH someone. Off to checked prices now to see if I need to return anything! x
