I was the second person to wait outside Peterborough Bretton today. The first person was a woman with 3 kids and 3 trollies, and the kids were boasting they were going to get all the toys. They raced down ahead of me, and then turned into the aisle before the toys. I laughed0 -

Hi, called in Sainsburys this morning and couldn't believe the things people were buying, some seemed to be putting stuff in the trolley purely because it was half price without any thought of the actual cost. Many of the items I picked up I'd seen cheaper elsewhere. They are taking the full RRP price and halving that, which in most cases just matches what other stores are charging anyway. It seemed to me many people were just so desperate to buy things they were buying anything! So please if you're going to Sainsburys later today, do a bit of research first and check Argos, Entertainer, etc. There are some bargains but there is also a lot of clever marketing going on too! Incidently, there were trolleys piled up with toys which were still full price and people were not allowed to buy them, they were only allowed to buy sale toys! I assume the tills were automatically halving the prices and so they were unable to sell full price toys today(?!)0

Amen to that, I'd picked what I wanted days ago because i'd been looking online at them, saved at least £2 on each thing I actually wanted to buy0 -
hia, Enfield, A10 branch was very busy at lunch time. Everyone being polite. A lot more toys on display than usual, and the shelves still seemed fairy full but it was very busy. Lots of Lego left, but no harry potter or pirates of the carribean left. Hope this helps someone.0

Got up at the crack of dawn armed with my coffee in my to-go cup! Arrived at my local (Truro) store around 6.30, to be 3rd in the queue. About another 30 - 40 people were there and waiting by 7am.
Quick dash to the toy aisle and madness started!! Absolute grid lock in the aisle, toys flying everywhere! Never seen it so busy! But all good fun though!
Managed to pick up...
Ewok star wars lego £12.99
Nerf Praxis Vortex £12.50
2 x Meccano medium sets £8.49 each
2 x Halo megabloks sets £9.99 each
Tech deck starter set £4.99
Tech dech shop £7.49
Moon sand builder set £4.99
Lego Ninjago set £7.50
Lego Heroica game £4.99
2 x Moshi monster starter pack £9.99 each
Pictureka game £3.00
Lego pirates of the caribbean set £9.99

Can anyone else confirm the Zooble nursery was going through at £4.99 not the £17.49 on the shelf?
Thanks, but that would make it worth my while to return!0 -
