Keep your receipt, you can always take it back later, once you get home and have that lightbulb moment.

Or go in there with a list, ask yourself is it really needed, are you buying for buyings sake, who is it for etc.

My mum is a pain for spotting something SHE likes then saying oh so and so will like that, NO mum they wont if you like it buy it for you, dont invent people to but things for.

I just want some lego for my sons birthday a mickey mouse for my daughter and maybe some barbie stuff for my other daughter.

I wont be going mad, they have loads already courtesy of tesco.

Is there a list somewhere of stuff that is gonna be on sale? My local isn't great so i am trying to decide if it's worth a longer drive. But i don't know what's there

I wish MSE would invent an IGNORE thread button.

That way I can ignore all these sale threads and not get caught up in the hype and not spend so much money, lol.

DD is only 2 so i dont think she'd notice if she didnt get a toy she never asked for.

Mines exactly the same .... oh no I think I'm turning into my mother :eek:

Unfortunately NOT, its pot luck.

I was going to a store 40 miles away, but I hate the twisty country back road drive but its a huge store.

Instead I have changed my mind and im going to a store that is only 20 miles away, down a straight simple road, one I have never been to before and they may have nothing at all.
