Anyone had a look in Darnley today to see what they were putting out? Phoned and they said 8am opening as usual! Is it worth waiting a while till the mad rush died down or are all the good things gone by then? Thanks

  • HI
Been in the S!!!!horpe store tonight and to be honest didnt look to be a great deal I want, think most overpriced anyway, the sylvanian windmill is the small one priced at £49.99 even at £25 its robbery for what you get. Saw the staff putting out the small pink and blue boxes of lego. They had loads of the dancing mickey mouse, toy laptops, easels, monster trucks. I really wanted some sylvanian stuff but nothing in the store apart from couple of odd bits, the normal toy section looked a bit thin on the ground. Whether it will be restocked over night is anyones guess. Might chance going in tomorrow and see what they have but looks nowhere as good as last years sale. :(

ok guys, cant remember who it was i was talking to earlier abt norwich stores , but just been to longwater and they have set up big displays on the ends of the isles and before you get to the halloween bit. pallets of really big items litke the dancing mickeys, bratz styling heads, play kitchens, easels, littlest pet shop £60 sets, bad news is the normal toy section was looking very poor they hadnt put anything much there so lego section starting to look a bit shabby, with quite a few out of stock stickers on some of the bits i wanted, they had only 1 star wars lego item which was called a freece speeder (freeco or fresco or something like that) which was £22.99. did have the light sabers for £40 which were already at half price tonite but only saw 3 or 4 of those.. no big lego sets apart from a couple of halo sets. quite disappointed as the normal toy section had the half dozen bits i wanted and the shelves were very bare so think i'm going to chance pound lane instead as my friend went there tonite & says shelves looking good, all the same big stuff and hello kity sets too. HTH good luck to all tomorrow.

It was me!!! thanks so much for looking for me! I can't decide which to go to, was really looking for some toy story lego, I enter A47 at Trowse so can easily head either way!!!! decisions decisions..............
