I agree daughter hardly used hers soon got rid of it.

Would say it depends on the child, had one bought for my oldest and she hardly ever used it but my youngest loves it and uses it all the time
  • Sale finishes on the 2nd according to my daughter (Sainsbury's employee) :)
Busy but civilised in larger Basingstoke store, loads sold today but more stock going out - there were more Moshi things this evening (Mash Up cards and gold tins)

I decided not to call in this morning, but couldn't resist not nipping in after work at 6pm today :p (Chesterfield store).
Quite a lot of toys available including Mickey Mouse, small lego sets, Playmobil, barbies, Sylvanian Families, Moshi Tins & Cuddly toys etc.

Bought a Moshi Gift pack (£10) and Disney Princess Hair care playset (£6). Will keep nipping in to see what gets re stocked.

    Zippy x
:p Busy working Mum of 3

I agree. Bought for DS2 - he (and DS1) LOVED it, DD never gave it a second glance.

Got a dance & spin zebra for DS1, who did not really bother with it. My younger son loved it and played on it lots. I do think that they are expensive for what they are (even at half price!) for the amount of play you get out of them. I would honestly suggest looking on Ebay for a good condition second hand one (of which there are plenty) and then sell it on when you are done with it.

I had a very productive morning. Got to sainers just before opening at 8am - about 30-40 people waiting. I laughed when the shutters came up and the trolley dash started! I took my time going in but was still early enough to get what I wanted. Spent a bit more than intended but happy with the result. Now just need to try and stay away until it's all over!!

    So, I bought
    Play doh fairytale sets
    Play doh tubs
Lego creator truck and dune hopper
    Ninjago ice dragon,
    Star wars lego battle pack
moshi monster gift tin, and plush
moshi monster blind bags x lots for stockings!
squinki small gumball machine plus re-fill
    crayola story studio
    bakugan triple pack
    sylvanian sainsbury
    animagic lily

DH is cross with me but he'll get over it - Christmas shopping officially FINISHED! (well, for the kids anyway!)

Was there about 2:30 today and they were restocking... they block off the aisle while they do it. There were quite a few people waiting. Someone said they had waited about 20 minutes for them to do it but when it reopened there was plenty of room to move about. Had gone to Cheshire Oaks store this morning and got a few good things but it was so crowded. They had a few different barbie dolls in liverpool but not much in the way of sets. Had seen the puppy waterpark thing and puppy stroller in Ellesmere Port but not in liverpool. I am sure stuff goes fast though and as others have said they might bring out different stock to what they had before so probably worth looking.
